What is the typical profile of transabled individuals?

There isn't a "typical profile".

People who have body integrity identity disorder are just like anyone else, except that they have a condition that makes them need to have an impairment. While studies show that more men are affected than women, the ratio of male/female seems to become more even as time goes by and the condition is better known.

There is no socio-economic factor at this point that seems to be more prevalent.

Transabled individuals generally appear to be intelligent. They also are generally not deluded, nor psychotic.

You can't tell if someone has BIID just by looking at them.
