Able Bodied
Term often used to describe people without disabilities. Some segments of the disability community, in particular disability rights advocates, object to that use of the expression, explaining that by using the term "Able Bodied" to mean "without a disability", it excludes people who have non-physical disabilities.
When used throughout this site, we intend to mean that Able Bodied = 'without a physical disability'.
